At Chateau Volterra our goal is to produce a Côtes de Provence that consistently ranks among the finest wines of the world. Our reds have depth and complexity not normally found in Côtes des Provence wines. The whites display a sophisticated aroma with a hint of citrus and reward with a fresh clean finish in the mouth.

 

 

The Winery

In the midst of our vineyards, the Chateau’s newly restored winery takes advantage of a simple but remarkably greatly reduces 19th century design that eliminates the need for mechanical assistance.
 

Wine-making at Chateau Volterra

Hand-pruning, manual harvesting by moonlight and fermentation in oak testify to our dedication to quality wine-making under the guidance of leading oenologist Georges Pauli.
 

The Vineyards

Kissed by Mediterranean breezes, our six hectares of vines enjoy breathtaking views and an ideal terroir for the luscious Côtes de Provence grape varietals.
